Harrisburg, Pennsyltucky

Charles Dickens wrote of Harrisburg in his American Notes, when he visited the city after crossing the Old Camelback Bridge in 1842:

"…We emerged upon the streets of Harrisburg, whose feeble lights, reflected dismally from the wet ground, did not shine out upon a very cheerful city."
Some things never change...
