I think the worst thing about me being depressed is that I can't just tune it out. I have to figure out why I'm depressed, perhaps in an attempt to fix it. But the more I think about it the more I think about things that can't be changed, and that gets me even more depressed. Or I keep trying and discarding reasons leaving me with no reason at all, which is worse.
The best I can hope for is put in a movie or something and literally zone out.
