Up past midnight

Maybe I could get worker's comp.

Had to go to CVS to get a wrist brace after another grueling day at work. Damn carpal tunnel I can do nothing about!

At least I finally get a weekend. Yay!

I should stop listening to music altogether. I get most of my story ideas randomly from music. But from lyrics, really. Mostly I'll be listening to a track and my brain will start putting together the scene that the music is playing in the background of. My goth station on Spotify gave me a new post apocalyptic heroine. I'm actually excited. Like I need more muses. Like another hole in my head.

We used to have this girl at work who was the worst kind of attention-seeking medical issues pretender EVER. Like, if you had a cold, she had pneumonia. No, double pneumonia. No, double pneumonia AND bronchitis! Yeah! You know, one of those.

Anyway, she would occasionally claim to have carpal tunnel and wore a wrist brace and we all started calling the wrist brace her name. So every time I actually DO need my wrist brace, at work it's all "Oh, no, you've got the Melanie on! Are you ok? Should I get you a cold towel? Do you need a wheelchair?"

It's probably a lot funnier to me, but I am resolved to comment more and this is what you get.

LOL That is pretty funny.

your wrist
I hope your wrist gets better soon, but I have had that and typing is just not a good idea, let your wrist rest. But what I really wanted to comment on is the casual way the RDA photo sneaks its way into the photo of your wrist. If you couldn't get to CVS, I am sure McGuyver could have made you a brace from whatever you had handy in the house. . . .You can tell I am learning more about fandoms that I am not even into as I have learned, probably from a mutual LJ friend, how to abbreviate his name.
